It started with my girl
I always dreamed of being a mom, and for the last eight years that dream has been my four boys. We've been through everything together, and I already thought my life was full.
Then this year, the thing I'd stopped letting myself expect actually happened. My little girl arrived, with the name I'd been saving for years. And I knew straight away I wanted to make something for her.
That's how these mats started. I worked on them until they were something I'd genuinely want in her space, and in every little girl's space. I can't wait to share them with all of you who've been here for the whole journey.

You never replace the mat, you extend it. Every mat connects to the next, so the play area keeps up with your child instead of being outgrown.
- 1 0 to 6 months Tummy time and back play One mat is the whole world at this age. Soft enough for a newborn, firm enough to push against.
- 4 6 to 18 months Crawling, pulling up, first steps Connect four and the floor is theirs. This is the size most families settle on.

Ages are a guide, not a rule. Plenty of families start with four and never add more, and some run eight across a whole living room.

About the drop
Why is this a pre-order?+
Honestly, we are a small family business and we cannot make hundreds and just hope they sell. So we open the drop for 72 hours, count the real orders, and make close to that number. You wait a little longer, but nothing is mass-produced or wasted, and you get a piece from a run that is genuinely limited.
When will my order ship?+
Because every cover is made to order, production only starts once the drop closes. Your mat arrives in January. You get an order confirmation right away, then email updates as it goes into production and again when it ships.
What comes in the box?+
Your chosen size with the Sue Rose cover zipped on and ready, plus the floor connector. Covers zip off and on, so you can switch designs whenever you like.
Can I connect more mats later?+
Yes. Velcro connectors run along all four sides, so you can add mats anytime and connect as many as you like.
Is it safe for newborns?+
Yes. Non-toxic and free of BPA, PVC, latex and harmful phthalates. Exceeds ASTM F963, CPSIA, CE and EN71.
Is it really handmade?+
Yes. Every mat in this run is made to order by hand once the window closes, which is the honest reason it takes until January rather than next week. Small variations in the print and the stitching come with that. They are part of it, not a fault.
Can I return it?+
No. This drop is final sale and you confirm that with a tick box before you order. It is made to order in a limited run, so there is no spare stock for a return to go back into. If anything reaches you damaged, faulty or incorrect that is on us: email a photo to info@eeveve.com within 5 working days and we replace it.
What does shipping cost, and where do you ship?+
Shipping is free on every size in this drop. We deliver within the Lower 48 and Washington DC by UPS or FedEx. We cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO or FPO addresses, and couriers do not deliver to PO Boxes, so please give a street address at checkout.
One mat, every look

The mat stays. The cover changes. Zip one off, zip the next one on, and the room reads completely differently by the weekend.
Covers zip onto an Eeveve Grow Mat and nothing else, so they are not a fit for the puzzle play mats. A cover on its own does not include a mat. The $49 price applies to every cover in an order that also has a mat.
